I had never done yoga before. Raquel made me feel at ease and calm during my sessions. The way she described the step by step instructions as well as the reasoning and meaning behind the moves was not only educational but made it easy and fun to learn. In my first few sessions I sweated more than I ever have during weight or cardio workouts. When I was done I felt refreshed and renewed. The days following my sessions I am more conscious of my posture. I am enjoying learning the art of yoga while getting a fantastic workout in the process. As a high school varsity girls water polo coach, I am always looking for ways to improve the strength, flexibility and conditioning of my players. When I turned to Raquel Otis for assistance, she took my players to a whole new level in their endurance and flexibility. Raquel is such a nice, caring, and knowledgeable yoga instructor. She takes the time to make sure that I am doing each pose correct so that it benefits me best and with my neck injury she customizes the poses so that I am safe and can continue to practice. Raquel was the first person I did an official yoga class with. It was the most relaxing thing I had ever done, I felt like I had no problems in my life and every muscle in my body was relaxed.
