When I was at my darkest and lowest point living with persistent pain, when my doctors appointments and my appointments with specialists left me feeling the same or worse, the MELT ® Method gave me hope. I had tried acupuncture, physical therapy, massage therapy, I was adjusted by a chiropractor and not only was I still hurting, I still had sleepless nights, tingling in my arms and legs and debilitating migraines.
My research and perseverance helped me land on the MELT ® Method web site. My justification for ordering the $149 Super Bundle Kit was that I was paying close to that just for visit to a specialists office.
I read the book, I watched the DVDs, I wanted to make sure that I had some understanding of what I was about to do with the small and large MELT balls and MELT roller. When I MELTed for the first time I was convinced that my pain symptoms had decreased, but only because it was psychosomatic. I MELTed a few more times. It kept helping me actually feel less pain. So I did what any skeptic woman might do, I called my best friend, told her about MELT and that I had identified someone close to our town who was certified in the MELT Method and who was offering a workshop.
We went, I wanted to address my neck and shoulder pain, she wanted to address her arthritis. By the end of that workshop she was able to move her toes, I was able to turn and tilt my neck. It truly was helping me, it truly helped Jen, I knew it could help my students. And that is what it took for me to register for the training in San Diego with Sue Hitzmann. I needed to know more about pain, connective tissue, stability and the human body. I recommend this self-care approach to pain management to my students on a consistent basis. I’m thrilled to be able to offer it to you here now. Here’s to your MELTing.
