Last week I visited my Aunt and Uncle in Taos, NM.
Both of them had a profound effect on me when I was younger as they introduced me to breath work, through yoga and meditation.
My uncle has done extensive research on respiration after reading an article about dysregulated breathing linked to chronic fatigue when he was back in Berkeley after studying to be a Clinical psychologist.
Years of studying yoga has also taught me the importance of using my breath and it’s one of the elements I teach my private clients.
Many physical and metal issues such as depression and chronic fatigue can be helped by utilising your lungs, getting more oxygen flowing around your body and re-connecting with your breath.
